In September 2026, iDesignRES partners will meet for a joint Lombardy Case Study Workshop and Consortium Meeting, bringing together project partners and regional stakeholders to discuss energy transition pathways in the Lombardy region.
The workshop will focus on the development and application of the iDesignRES modelling framework to the Lombardy case study. It will provide an opportunity to present modelling assumptions and preliminary results, and to collect feedback from stakeholders to support the validation of the analysis.
The event will be combined with a Consortium Meeting, allowing project partners to review overall progress and coordinate the next stages of the project.
The Lombardy Workshop will focus on:
- Discussion of the Lombardy case study and modelling assumptions
- Exchange with regional stakeholders
- Validation of scenario inputs and results
The Consortium Meeting will focus on:
- Updates on project activities across work packages
- Coordination of upcoming tasks and deliverables
- Planning of the next project phases.
