As the largest solar research institute in Europe, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE has been one of the leading R&D service providers for solar-based energy utilization for 30 years. Under the direction of Prof. Bruno Burger, the website Energy-Charts (www.energy-charts.info) has been operated since 2014, which scientifically analyses, prepares and interactively visualizes the latest data on electricity production, energy generation, climate and electricity exchange prices.
ISE will optimize, develop and implement all the relevant visualization tools and graphic end-user interface. For a proper usability by all end-users and in particular non-researchers, the tools will be made cloud-based.
