Driving Europe's Renewable Uptake! iDesignRES offers state-of-the-art open-source toolboxes empowering public authorities and network operators to plan and optimise renewable energy systems from regional to European scales.
iDesignRES is at the forefront of Europe's energy transition, bringing together 22 European partners from 11 countries to develop innovative and open-source energy modelling tools. Led by NTNU, our project unites experts in energy system and multi-physics component modelling, visualisation, data, network operators and public authorities, aiming to guide European energy planning strategies. We integrate cutting-edge research with real-life applications, ensuring our models and tools are robust, accessible, and tailored to the needs of public authorities, network operators, and industries.
